Y10 Residential Trip Update: Battlefields – July 2025

I am emailing to give a few updates and reminders for the upcoming Battlefields Trip 2025.

An email has now gone out to all parents from Mr Thorpe and Evolve, this is the consent form for the trip. This does sometimes go to the ‘junk’ folder, so please keep an eye out for it. If you could please complete it and you will see it has a space to inform me of any dietary needs for the trip.

Instalments are be due as follows and thank you for those who have paid in full already. The next instalment is due for the end of March:

£80 30 Sep 2024 (deposit)
£80 Due by 30 November 2024
£70 Due by 31 January 2025
£60 Due by 30 March 2025
£67 Due by 3 May 2025 (balance)
£357 Total Sum Payable pp in full

Please be reminded of the need for a valid passport and GHIC card. The EU visa system has now been delayed until 2026 and so will not be needed.

Students will all need their own passport to be able to come on the trip, please note that the EU requires the passport to have been issued within the last 10 years.  If you have yet to arrange the passport and need a professional person to verify the photo, I am happy to assist, please just send me an email to let me know.

When you apply for the free GHIC card (link below), the parent or car does the form for themselves, then applies for one for their child at the same time.

Should there be any problems in regards to payments, passports or the trip please do reach out to me via email and I will assist as best as I can.

There will be a trip information evening in the summer term to go over the itinerary and other trip details. I will contact you separately to confirm the date and time.

Kind Regards

Mr A Archer
