Suffolk School Nursing Service

Within Suffolk, the School Nursing teams provide a range of services to help you and your family stay safe, healthy and happy.  At Westbourne Academy, the school nurses run a drop-in service for students on week one Thursdays from 13:10-13:40 in the Green Room. This week however, the nurse will be in school on Friday 21 April instead of Thursday.

The School Nursing team offer advice, information and guidance on a range of matters such as:

  • Emotional Health including low mood, worries, self-harm, self-confidence and self-esteem
  • Physical Health including puberty, healthy lifestyle, sleep and health conditions
