Safeguarding News: TV Series Adolescence

 

You may be aware of the recent Netflix series Adolescence, which has gained significant popularity among young people.  While the show highlights real-life challenges faced by teenagers, some of the content may be intense, emotional and potentially unsettling for younger viewers.

We have noticed that Adolescence has sparked a lot of conversations amongst our students.  Some themes portrayed – including online interactions, peer pressure and risky behaviours – underline the importance of maintaining open communication about online safety and personal wellbeing.
