Year 11 Rewards Information
Firstly, Ms Robbie and I would both like to thank you for your support this term in trying to improve the standards of attendance and behaviour amongst our Year 11 students. There is no doubt at all that if a student improves their attendance, behaviour and attitude, their future exam results will also improve.
As a set of incentives, to help encourage improvement this term, we have introduced a series of rewards, including Golden Tickets for spot prizes and Amazon Vouchers, Chocolate Treats for tutor time, Queue Jump passes and Free Meals from the food hall, and of course an end of term Rewards Trip.
For the next term, we intend to continue with all these incentives and plan for another rewards trip before we break for the Easter holidays.
However, to further encourage our students to be the absolute best versions of themselves, the following criteria must be met to qualify for an invitation to the end of term trip. Students were made aware of this in their weekly assembly.
- 90% attendance or better
- Net zero behaviour points
- No suspensions at all (truancy/behaviour)
- No more than the equivalent of 1 late to school per week
- No more than the equivalent of 5 lates to lessons per week
- Reset begins on Tue 6 January 2026
A report will be run every fortnight after our return from the Christmas holidays. Those who are at risk of failing to meet the criteria will be informed straight away. This will give them the opportunity to rectify these aspects of their school life and hopefully regain their chance to join us on the trip.
