Year 10 Drama Monologues
After school on Wednesday 8 October, we welcomed the parents/carers and family members of Year 10 Drama students to watch them perform their monologues (solo pieces). The students put on a fantastic show which highlighted their hard work, independent learning and acting skills. The pieces, written for them individually, showcased a wide range of characters who had each been affected by a central catastrophe.
Mrs Price was so proud to see the students rise to the occasion and perform at their best in front of such a supportive audience. A special ‘well done’ to Poppy in Year 9 who, after watching the Year 10s rehearsing at Year 6 Open Evening, asked to join in and be given a monologue of her own… with five days until the performance evening. Well done Poppy! Well done, Year 10!
