Intent:
It is a practical work-related course. You learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations so you can demonstrate your knowledge and skills in work-related scenarios. You will explore the world of business in particular how to carry out market research, plan a new product and pitch it to experts and review if a business proposal is viable. This qualification contains practical activities which help to develop independence and confidence in using skills relevant to the business and enterprise sector.

Examination Board:
The OCR Level 1/2 Cambridge National in Enterprise and Marketing consists of 3 mandatory units.
The units are:
R067 – Enterprise and Marketing Concepts
This will be assessed through an exam sat at the end of Y11. It is worth 60% of your overall grade.
RO68 – Design a Business Proposal
This unit will provide you with the skills and knowledge to design a product proposal to meet a business brief. This is worth 20% of your overall grade and is assessed through course work.
R069– Market and Pitch a Business Proposal
In this unit you will learn how to design a brand which will make your product stand out. This will be assessed through course work and your presentation skills and is worth 20%.
