Changes to Seclusion System
Following a recent review of our Seclusion system, we are making some changes to the structure of the day. These changes will take effect from Monday 15 December.
Parents and carers will continue to be notified the day before if their child is scheduled to attend Seclusion.
Students attending seclusion must arrive via Student B Gate by 8.30, where they will be met by Mrs Pipe, Seclusion Manager. They will remain in the seclusion room until 15:30. Students will stay in the room during break and lunchtime; any food ordered in the morning for break and/or lunch will be delivered directly to them.
Regular, supervised toilet breaks will be provided throughout the day.
To minimise any gaps in learning, students will now follow the timetable below and complete work set by their class teachers:
- P1: English
- P2: Maths
- P3: Science
- P4: Options / KS3 Set Work
- P5: Options / KS3 Set Work
