Sent to Parents and Carers of Year 6 Students on 17/06/27
Year 6 Meet the Form Tutor Evening
Wednesday 24 June 2026
We would like to invite you to come into the academy on Wednesday 24 June 2025 from 16:30-18:00 to meet with your child’s form tutor and key staff such as Mr Payne, the Head of Year 7 for September and Mrs Gant, our academy SENDCO. You may bring your child with you but we would ask that younger or older siblings remain at home please.
This evening will provide an opportunity for you to raise any questions you might have and start to build the foundations of our working relationship over the next 5 years.
Please arrive at reception for 16:15 where you will be greeted and taken to the main hall. On the night you will be placed into two groups; Group A will start by listening to a short talk whilst Group B will be escorted to our Y7 block to meet with their child’s future form tutor. You will then switch over part way through the evening.
Group A – Surnames A-L
Group B – Surnames M-Z
As you sign in on arrival, there will be a register in the foyer where your child’s new tutor group for September will appear. There will be student ambassadors on hand to assist you in making sure you know where to go.
We appreciate that not all parents/carers will be able to make this evening. If this is the case, and you would like to speak to your child’s form tutor by phone, then please notify us by emailing wes-office@attrust.org.uk. We will arrange for your child’s form tutor to call you back when they are free. This may be outside of the normal school day because of teacher timetables. Please remember to state your child’s full name in the heading.
Please arrive by entering the main school reception from where you will be directed to the main hall. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible next week. Your child should please attend with you.
Thank you to those of you who have completed and returned the Year 7 Admission and Consent Forms. If you have not yet done so, please do so by Friday 19 June so that we have the most update emergency contact details for you and your child in our academy systems. Copies are available to collect from Reception, weekdays in term time.
Regards
Mr M Higgon
Principal
