Final Reminders & Guidance for Year 11 Students
As we approach the start of the Year 11 final examination period, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and to highlight a few key areas that will help ensure our students perform to the very best of their ability.
Firstly, punctuality is more important now than ever. Arriving on time to school and to each lesson ensures that students are fully prepared, settled, and ready to engage from the very start. Even small delays can disrupt focus and lead to missed learning opportunities at this crucial stage.
Equally important is maintaining strong focus during lessons. These final weeks provide valuable opportunities for revision, clarification of key concepts, and targeted support from teachers. We encourage all students to make the most of this time by staying attentive, asking questions, and actively participating in their learning.
Finally, a positive and purposeful attitude towards their studies can make a significant difference. Encouraging your child to approach their work with determination, resilience, and a willingness to improve will help build both confidence and momentum as they enter their exams.
We are proud of the effort our Year 11 students have shown so far, and we are committed to supporting them every step of the way. With a combined effort between school and home, we can help ensure they feel prepared, confident, and ready to succeed.
Thank you again for your support.
Kind regards
Mr D Payne – Head of Year 11
& Ms L Robbie – Assistant Head of Year 11
