Introducing MCAS Online Payment for New Year 7 Students
At Westbourne, we use an online payment system called MyChildAtSchool (also known as MCAS). MCAS is an online portal linked to Bromcom, our MIS (Management Information System).
It is available via the web-browser (https://www.mychildatschool.com), or you can download the app to your mobile (Android or iOS).
It allows you to pay for your child’s school dinners and trips and buy items from the school shop such as calculators and school ties. You can also access information for attendance, behaviour, reports, important documents and your child’s timetable. Other modules may be introduced in the future.
Bromcom will be used by academy staff to send text messages and emails. By downloading the MCAS app and allowing the app notifications, you will receive communications to your mobile, with no cost to either yourself or the academy.
Next steps
When your MCAS account is ready, you will receive an email asking you to complete the setup and create your password. Once you have completed this and logged in, you will be able to access attendance/behaviour information about your child.

Q: What about other online payments for trips?
A: MCAS is our system for all online payments.
What happens if I forget my password?
A: On the login screen, you will see a ‘Forgot Password’ link. Click this and enter your email address. You will be emailed a link to reset your password.

A: MCAS is available from a web-browser: https://www.mychildatschool.com or to allow greater flexibility, you can download the app for your mobile. Open your app store (App Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android) and search for ‘MyChildAtSchool’.
