Relaunching Our House System
We are excited to be relaunching our House System, bringing even more opportunities for pupils to get involved, represent their House and celebrate everything that makes school life special. Through friendly competition, teamwork and a wide range of activities, we want every pupil to feel a strong sense of belonging and pride in being part of their House.
The House System will encourage pupils to pursue their strengths, discover new interests and develop new skills, whether through sport, creativity, academic challenges, leadership, community activities or simply having a go at something new. Most importantly, it will provide opportunities for every pupil to contribute, earn points for their House and celebrate their own achievements and those of others.
We look forward to seeing our Houses come to life and creating plenty of memorable moments throughout the year!
It is important for Westbourne Academy to involve as many members of our community as possible to ensure we are all involved in the House relaunch. Over the first few weeks of term, students and staff have been making their suggestions of not only themes but also House names we could use. In the MS Form link below is the shortlist of potential options we could use.
Please could I ask you to click the link and vote for your favourite House theme and names. Once we have asked parents/careers, staff and most importantly our pupils; we will share the exciting results and introduce you to the new House names!!
