Year 11 Leavers: Collection of Exam Results: Thursday 25 August 2022

We hope that you are enjoying your summer so far. As you will already be aware, the results of your KS4 qualifications will be available for collection on Thursday 25 August. You will be able to collect your results at any time between 10:00 – 13:00.

Please come through the main reception doors and into the main hall where your results will be laid out ready for you to collect. You will need to sign for your results when you collect them.

Most of you will want to come and collect your results in person, and you are welcome to bring parents with you to share the experience. It is good for us to see you and share with you the successes. For some of you, the results won’t be quite as you had hoped for, and therefore academy staff will be on hand to support you with advice and reassurance of what to do.

Please remember that once you have collected your results, you will need to go to your further education provider ie Sixth Form, College or an Apprenticeship to register for your next steps as soon as possible. They will notify you of how this process works.

Sometimes we understand that you may not be able to make it on the day. If this is the case, then you will have to email the exams team WES-Exams@westbourne.attrust.org.uk and request one of the 3 options below, giving details of the person you wish to collect the results, or the email address/postal address you wish for them to be sent to:

  1. Somebody else may collect the results on your behalf. This nominated person will need to be over 18, and bring with them photo id e.g. passport, driving licence. They will have to sign for your results.
  2. Email You can request that your results are emailed to you. For this to happen, we will need you to let us know the email address you wish this to be sent to.
  3. By post Your results can be posted to you. Please notify us of the address you wish them to be posted to. There will be a delay in receiving your results if you choose this method, which may then impact on your next steps.

We will be writing to you again in October to invite you to join us at The Class of 2022 Awards Evening on Wednesday 16 November. This is when you will be able to come and collect your exam certificates. We will take some time to celebrate your achievements as you reunite with your peers and teachers, senior leaders and Heads of House.

Access to student email accounts will remain active until after exam results day so please continue to check your school emails from time to time. Mrs Pepper is going to email you to ask if you would like to be part of our alumni resource for marketing and social media purposes. Your parents email and mobile contact details will also remain active in our communication system until after exam results day.

Lastly, like yourselves, the following members of staff are leaving Westbourne for new challenges at the end of term and we thought you might like to know: Mrs Potter (retiring), Mrs Boland, Miss Hewlett, Miss Hopper, Mr Page, Mr Jordan, Mrs Adetu, Miss Ince, Mr Keane and Mrs Sewell.

We wish you a safe and relaxing summer break and look forward to welcoming you back on Thursday 25 August.

Regards
