Dear Parents, Carers and Students in Years 7, 8 and 9

Essential Equipment: Personal Headphones

A reminder that a pair of in-ear or over-headphones with a standard 3.5mm audio jack is part of the essential equipment that all students should bring to school with them every day, as well as pens/pencils/ruler/eraser, calculator, timetable and a reading book.

Students will need personal headphones in lessons such as computing and music and to complete other computer-based assessments and reading tests throughout the year. We are sure you can appreciate that headphones cannot be shared between students for health and hygiene reasons.

Students in Years 7, 8 and 9 are in the process of having reading assessments with Mrs Turner-Smith in the LRC. Without a pair of headphones of their own, students cannot complete these assessments. If they are not already equipped, please assist us by making sure your child brings suitable personal headphones with a 3.5mm audio jack connector and not a USB or flash connector.

Thank you for your continued help and support.
