Activity Days 2024

At Westbourne, we like to be able to offer our students the chance to participate in a wide variety of co-curricular opportunities and cultural experiences.

Attached is a PDF brochure which provides details of the different options on offer for our Activity Days 2024, which will take place in the last week of the summer term. The activities cover a wide variety of interests and prices, including those that have minimal or no cost involved and which will take place within the academy.

WA Activities Day Booklet 2024

Students must choose to take part in two 1-day activities. This is a fantastic opportunity and one in which every student in Years 7-10 is expected to participate. Please note that all activities are subject to both availability and interest, and are therefore subject to change. The camping trip will run for three days.

In order to register an interest in the preferred activity choices for your child, please complete the online form here.  If you have more than one child at the academy, please complete a separate form for each of them. Please complete the form no later than Friday 26 April.  If we do not hear back from you, it will be assumed that you are opting for the free in school activities over the two days for your child.

No payments are required at this stage of the process – final prices will be confirmed based on the numbers of students participating in each activity. Once activities have been allocated to students that do require a payment, these will be set up on SchoolMoney and a further communication will be sent, outlining final confirmed costs, instalment options and final payment deadlines.

Please consider affordability when selecting activities. As per the Pupil Premium policy, Pupil Premium funding cannot be used for these events.

Parents/carers should also be aware that participation in Activity Days is dependent on positive behaviour between now and July and therefore some activities may not be available to those students who have not been able to demonstrate the academy STAR values of being safe, thoughtful, accountable and respectful.

Should you have any questions about the activities days or need a printed copy of the MS Form, please do not hesitate to contact me at the academy, using the email address
